Austin HunterDop bottom/box Express Rifle Semi-Inlet Stock?
Do any of the semi-inlet stock providers offer a patter with a "drop" for the larger capacity bottom metals?
Example:

kcstottYou can usually ask them to leave extra wood and it will only cost a small fee of like thirty bucks or so

Austin HunterThanks - that was my plan if there wasn't an existing pattern.
I already have two Enfields with straight bottom metal; I have to decide it I want the extra cost of deeper bottom metal and whether it will provide one or two extra rounds.

kcstottThe other thing is I heard that pattern called many things but it looks like an American Classic with a pot belly or drop floor plate which ever you prefer to call it. A good stock maker/ duplicator should have no problem leaving wood behind so long as the blank allows it.

Duane WiebeYou might want to check with Roger Vardy..I THINK he is developing a pattern for our pot belly bottom metal.
"Leaving extra wood" is hit and miss
