I got this triggerguard on a 700 short action, and need to find out what brand it is, and where to get a magazine for it.

Looks like Remington 700 DBM to me.

Yes but the mag catch has to be on the mag itself as there's no release on the triggerguard. looks like it locks into the two long oval holes in the guard.

Send me an email. I got a new mag if you want it. And yes the catches on the 700dm are on the magazine.
