BGReedFitting stocks
I have been trying to find information on stock fitting i.e. length of pull, cast off, drop etc. Are any of you familiar with any books that deal with this subject.

Glen71Gregg - If you are referring to rifle stocks, the Gun Digest Book of Riflesmithing, by Jack Mitchell touches on the subject of "classic" style stock dimensions. It does not necessarily (as I remember) delve into fitting a stock for someone.
The book "Professional Stockmaking" by Westbrook is the only tome I've read that came close to describing on how to fit a riflestock...
After several years of researching, the best advice is to find a rifle that is close to fitting you and start tweaking it from there...
