I THINK (oh hell, there I go, doing that without my wife's permission again) ...

...nuttin but crazy talk....

I think I need to just get drunk and go kill a deer tomorrow, hoping this passes.

...at JB's inference.. this really didnt make much sense...

It kind of made sense to me. Jeffe was talking about a rifle with a mag well in the stock (not a mag box) AND a floorplate that opened.

I thought of something similar, cutting 'windows' in the sides of the mag box to allow more room for the shoulders of the cartridges and let them to stagger out more.

Interesting idea.
