Gunsmith to restore Belgium A5?
I have a couple of older Belgium A5s that are below collector grade and are shooters. Can anyone recommend someone to re-blue them and refinish the stocks?

Is the original finish a rust blue?

You won't find anyone anywhere that can make a Browning look as good as he can. He use to work for Browning and knows everything there is to know about properly restoring a one.

Good to know. There is no rust bluing more beautiful than early FNs.

+1 for Art Issacson. He's the man, when it comes to older Brownings.

StikR,
As a word of caution, do not be talked into letting Donnie Gemmes of Show Me Gunstocks handle any part of the restoration.

There is a lot of imformation on shotgunworld.com for A-5's. There's a fellow that posts as Jeff Mull on the Browning forum that is very helpfull and won't steer you wrong.
