how do I adjust a Mannlicher-Schoenauer 52 trigger?
My hunting partner just bought an exc+ 1952 Mannlicher-Schoenauer half stock rifle complete with G&H side mount & leupold 3x scope. It has a terrable single trigger. How do we adjust it? THANKS

If you look at the 1952 Mannlicher it has an adjustting screw and lock nut on the sear.
All you can adjust is engagement.
You might adjust the weight of pull buy installing a lighter sear spring.
A good gun smith might be able to polish the sear, trigger and cocking piece surfaces for a better pull. A less than qualified person might ruin those same parts and create a dangerous trigger pull.
