North Texas Gunsmiths?
Anybody have any recommendations for a good gunsmith in the North Texas area?
I have rounded up everything I need for my rifle project and as soon as my barrel gets here I will be ready to take it to have the action trued if needed, barrel installed and lugs lapped, stock bedded etc....
Since this is my first project rifle I am looking for suggestions as to which gunsmith to take it to. I am really looking forward to getting this thing put together and hopefully it will live up to my expectations.
Any information will be appreciated.

Well He's a bit north of you in Oklahoma, however I'd reccomend JJ Parodeau at CHAMPLIN FIREARMS, ENID, OK.
JJ has done work on my rifles and shotgun. A straight forward wonderful fellow!

I don't know if he's still in business but Doug Jackson in Selman City or Turner Town (east of Tyler) made my first custom rifle. He's good.
