Get the 'power' or optic that your eye likes instead of what someone else says.
When we go to the doctor they ask us what lens we like!
Do that with your optics.

vapodogThis was done for me by E R Shaw in the early '80s on a 1909 Argie.....I've always been of the impression it a Brownells bolt welded on.

Savage_99Thank you for posting that picture. Does the bolt handle have a hole in the end of it?

merlinronit does kind of look like a brownells bolt. i don't know if it's the camera angle or what, but it looks like it was either straightened a bit or welded on with less rake than it was intended to have. the knob looks like it's pointing a bit more forward than it should when a brownells bolt handle is put on according to how they are designed.

airgun1Here is one of my Leonard Brownell bolt handles. This has the hole in the end and is on my little Oberndorf clone.

Are you speaking of the late Norm Thompson in Black Forest/Monument Colorado?

Savage_99My error!
The correct name is Lenard Brownell and not Norm Thompson!
