AllenBoselyEbony tip blank size?
What is the ideal size for an ebony tip blank?
Is 2"x2"x2" good or?
What is the smallest size blank I would want?

I bought a piece 2" X 2" X 12" and cut to length as I like.....2 X 2 x 2 is fine IMO.

AllenBoselyIs 1.5" x1.5" big enough?
I am having trouble finding 2"x2" Ebony that is dry.I can find 1.5"x1.5" rough cut but not planed.
If 2"x2"x is what I need I will keep looking.

1.5X1.5" would be on the ragged edge for a medium bore rifle.
The last piece I bought came from Dressels. It's 1 5/8"X1 7/8" and blacker than Jeffeosso's girlfriend
