SwiftShotBuilding my 375
I have always wanted one. I dont know why just the history I guess. Well instead of just shelling out the cash which would be a lot easier I have been thinking of building one myself. I have done some work on mausers in the past restocking and chambering but nothing major. So I have decided to go on and buy the action from Montana one of the prof. hunter series. Have considered the CZ action but where the hell do you just get the action. The Montana start at 375 and go up for 520.00 hell thats cheaper than some of the mods I have done. The reason to do it myself is to make it personnel. Should be able to get mostly what I want. A nice old european style sporter I love the Fajen style. No scope just open sights. Model it after the Mauser rebuild in the Shotgun News from last month or so. Great rifle, I am open to suggestions on the build like another action I have not considered for about the same price ect. Some good books on custom rifles too will not hurt.
