MPI Stocks Recommendation

I know there have been some mixed views on this board regarding MPI Stocks, but I wanted to put in a good word for them.

I posted pics of a 8x57 Mauser Mannlicher over on the Custome Rifles forum on AR. Net, they did a fantastic job in 5 weeks (total turn around including shipping time) for a stock for me.

I intend to do a wood stock at some point, but needed something fast and well made. I couldn't be happier.

I sent them the barreled action and they hand made the stock, fit the end cap very nicely, added swivel studs, set to my desired LOP, installed a nice recoil pad, did an excellent bedding job, and a nice finish.

Want to make just about anything work better? Keep the government as far away from it as possible, then step back and behold the wonderment and goodness.

I like th looks of that rifle. I have been looking at their mannlicher stock for a while. I think they make a good stock but you unless you are very handy, it's best to let them fit it for you. They do good work. A lot of the complaints are form people expecting a drop in stock. MPI's are far from drop in!

I have no connection with MPI except for being a very satisified customer also. The have done several for me now, and all are excellent bits of work.
