There is nothing wrong with the std. Rem. trigger if it is tuned/adjusted properly. Two pounds is about where you can safely go with one, but if you insist on replacing, Jewell's are considered the top of the heap. Run you in the area of 200.00 w/ safety (which I would suggest.)

I have two Facotry that have Holland spring kits in them. They break at 31oz all day everyday. They are as good as my Timney(s) and Shilen. Shilen is a great trigger. I would bite the bullet and get a Jewell

Before replacing the trigger, try replacing the trigger spring. The factory trigger can be a very good trigger after it is adjusted.

The Shilen has a much more reliable reset than the Rifle Basic.

I was thinking of ordering a Jewell with the safety but I wonder if it may have too many parts for a tough weather condition hunting rifle versus the others on your list.
