Help price Barreled Action?
I don't know where to post this question, so I'll put it here.

I have a 9.3x57 Husky barreled action.
It's in very good shape with a 1909 type bottom metal.
Though not 1909 bottom metal.

The barrel has been cut down 1/2" & is missing rear sight blade.

But, I have a very nice 24" 9.3x57 Husky barrel from an action Steve Button
is building my 7x57 on.

It has nice front & rear sights & barrel band.
That could be opened up to 9.3x62 & installed on it.

It would make a nice 9.3x62.

The action is unmolested & was built in 1940 if I remember
correctly.

FN Belgian mil action.

Plus I have one extra 24" 9.3x57 barrel with sights & barrel band, to sell also.

Help on fair price?

I need o sell these to raise $ to go to my 404 Jeffery & 7x57
Steve is working on.

It's a Mauser thing, you wouldn't understand.

If it is a commercial HVA, then your action is a commercial FN action. Husqvarna never used ex or reworked military actions.

Ah ok, it has charger hump & thumb cut.

When I looked up the seral# on the Hsqvarna forum
showed as a 1940 I think.

The 2 I have Steve Button building in 7x57 & 404J on one was built
in 1939 & one in 1940.

Charger hump and thumb cut was common on commercial actions prior to WW2. Most Original Mauser sporters also had them. Post war, FN dropped the thumb cut but kept the charger hump into the late 40's.

Price....I would think a commercial 98 action made by a FN with the C cut would bring more than $250, but I have not recently tried to sell one.
