NitromanExpress Sights, What Is The Secret?
I hate to whine but I simply cannot hit with the express sights on my ZKK-602. Do I put the bead down into the bottom of the "V" or do I line it up with the top edges? When I try to line it up with the top edges the bullets go all over because the front isn't centered, I am too busy keeping the height correct.
I am about to tear the stupid thing off and see if some 'smith can cobble together a good 'ole peep to place on the rear sight island.

500nitroBalance the bead in the bottom of the V.
Works for me

AtkinsonRoger,
You sound like a canidate for a receiver sight to me..A ghost ring type...
My iron sights are a little different from the norm...I use a deeper V in combination with a blade front sight (NECG) and sight in to give the effect of a pistol sight..I want the blade even with the top of both sides of the V and center, when sighted in...
It is extremely fast and super accruate for me...Like a peep sight the post or blade centers automatically....I get one hole groups at 25 yds. and 1" groups at 50 yds. off hand which is twice as good as I get with a bead...but twice as bad still works with the bead with 1" at 25 and 2" at 50. oh well!

AtkinsonI forgot to add, the receiver sight ghost ring is a better arrangment than the shallow or deep V..IMHO as it will extend the accruate shooting range to 200 yds. give or take 50 yds....
