p dog shooterI brought a 22 hornet that was clued in years ago I found a can of fiberglass mold released agent at the local hard ware store.
I just dribbled some along the action and barrel and after several trys I was able to pop it loose.
I would but some on wait a hr or so put some more on try to remove the barrel action over and over then one time she just just came loose.
Don't remember how long it took me over 30 years ago but I don't think it was days.

ramrod340I just apply some heat to the metal. The epoxy will turn loose.

swampshooterI've been told that a hair dryer will get it hot enough to release but have never tried it.

meteHeat should do it or try cold - put it in the freezer. Differences in expansion and contraction make things happen.

butchlambertMost BR rifles are glue in. I don't use a hair dryer or heat gun as it could hurt the finish. Put a delrin wedge between the barrel and fore end with a little pressure. I heat the receiver with the wife's iron if she isn't looking.
