870 trigger job
How hard is it to do a trigger job on a Rem 870 shotgun turned slug gun? I already screwed the barrel shank and it did wonders. Now I need a little better trigger.

Nothing like screwing a barrel shank to clear ones mind.

Look here:
http://forums.accuratereloadin...171015601#1171015601There is a gunsmith(don't know his name offhand) on shotgunworld.com forums that does trigger work on shotguns, you send him trigger group and he charges about $50.
Accuracy Speaks has a kit for Remington shotguns on their sight that also fixes the trigger, buy it from them as Brownell's is higher.

papapaulAren't the trigger groups on the 760/742 rifles the same as on the 870s? Maybe there are some factory guts which can be swapped.
They may be, but Brownells shows different part numbers, call Accuracy Speaks and they can tell you.
