If you have a good hardware or auto parts store nearby, you can usually find a spring that will work just fine. May have to cut it to length. Just be sure and check it for safety, if it's too weak/short you have the potential for an AD.

I lost the spring for my 98/22 mauser. I have a new trigger ordered, but I want to fireform some brass made from 30-06 cases.

Does anyone know of a houseold or common spring that can be made to work?

It's the spring in front of the pivot pin on the standard mauser trigger.
