The real ANCIENT ones are made out of wood and pulled by hand. I have a friend that has one he built/uses all the time. He builds muzzleloaders the "OLD" way as a hobby.

I wonder how many of those Pratt & Whitney machines were around in the early part of the 20th century as compared to the 35 that may be around now.
