404 Jeffery Throat Reamer
I'm looking for a throat reamer to lengthen my throat longer than spec. Does any make one?

I am sure PTG, Dave Manson or JGS, will either make one or have it in stock

Be certain of your rifles bore diameter. Some 404s had .418 bores not .423.

Try to look unimportant. Your enemy might be low on ammo.

Ok, no 404s have bore diameters of .423 or 418; they might have groove diameters of that. If you tell a reamer maker that you have a bore diameter of X, you will get a tool with a pilot that fits X. When you really need one that fits Y. With Y meaning the bore diameter, not the groove one.

It was a new barrel installed by Dennis Olson.

You will have to ask him then, what the bore diameter was so you can get the correct size reamer. The pilot fits into the bore, not the .423 groove dimension. If he used a Douglas barrel, you can look on their web site for the correct dimensions for bore and groove.
