grifflow wall high wall info
have been considering a low/high wall as opposed to a no1.
have been informed that the manufacture of brownings was transferred to Japan. When did this happen? and was it detrimental to quality?.
can this transition be identified by the serial no's
many thanks

meteMy Browning 1885, 45-70 was made in Japan as are many Brownings, Miroku I think. Very well made ,very accurate .Sadly the single shots are no longer made.

GeorgeSGriff,
The B-78s (precursor to the current Model 1885)were made in Japan over 20 years ago.
Fit and finish are very good on the M-1885s; I don't know how well they shoot however.
