JBrownWiebe's trap grip caps
A month or two ago Duane Wiebe hinted that he may produce a trap grip cap. As I understood, it would be flat on the stock side instead of having the cylinder that requires inletting like the other trapdoor caps on the market.
I like Wiebe's system as it allows the pocket under the cap to be sized or fitted for whatever you plan to store. So if you only want to hold an extra front bead you don't need to remove as much wood.
I am wondering who would be interested in these caps if they were priced somewhat less that the trapdoor caps that are currently on the market.

Just curious, are you setting Wiebe's prices for him?

I thought Mr. Wiebe said that he expected them to cost less than the currently available trapdoor caps, but I may have inferred that that would be the case.
His caps would be much simpler(I would
think), so he would sell them for less than the others(I would
assume). I am only a customer. Sorry if I stepped on toes.
