Walther Rifle in 22 Mag?
A friend of mine has a bolt action 22mag made by Walther. It's a sweet little rifle, allbeit kind of beat up and neglected. It has a ramped rear sight, remnisant of a military Mauser, a detachable magazine and sling swivels. Anyone know where I could kind out more about this neat little rifle?

The model was most likely the KKJ and while very nice in some ways, ackward in others.

Renraf,

The Walther KK and KKJ were made in 22 lr, 22 wrf and 22 hornet. I had a KK in India many years ago and I remember the much cruder finished Brno Model 2s completely outshooting it at the Madras Rifle Club in our open sighted rifle matches. It was light and the short barrel made it handy but it was only average as far as accuracy was concerned though the finish was beautiful compared to the much cheaper Brnos.

Good hunting!

Thanks Mehul,
Any Idea where one might get a replacement magazine?
