What are the proper scope bases for a 1936 Mexican small ring 98?

I used a Leupold one-piece base for a 96 Swede on my M 1954 Mexican. I believe the 1954 and the 1936 have the same receiver.

The 36 and the 54 are pretty much the same rifle, some 54's just being rebuilds of 36's, but chambered for 30-06. As mentioned, the 96 Swede mounts are very close, some will work with no adjustment, some need a small amount of fitting. Same with bottom metal. - Dan
