I am working on a custom single shot rifle and I need a very high grade steel trapdoor butt place either checkered or not.

About a year ago I bought a Recknagle trap door butt plate from NEGC. It's all milled and an absolutely beautiful hunk of metal. It's the nicest I've ever seen.

I had a picture of on my computer but I can't seem to find it. It's at the gunsmiths now about to be used.

Here is a web picture of it. It's a very well built heavy weight piece.
