Badger ring torque?
I just got some badger rings and the 20 MOA base for my sendero SF 338 ultra. I also got a leupod 4-14 50mm LRT to mount on her. As you can imagine I'm anxious to mount her but the side of the box says 65 in.lbs for the base and 15 for the rings. What should I do? I don't have a torque wrench, and don't want to spend $100 on one. Should I just hand tighten them or buy the wrench. Is this really important?

MOA - you can go to a rental store and rent an inch/pound torque wrench for about $10.00. Or just snug them down good.

I always use a torque wrench.

Measure the lever arm in inches, divide it into 65 (or 15), and pull that many pounds at that distance out from center with a fish scale (De-Liar or similar) or a trigger pull gauge.

I tried to tightened mine with a plain wrench and broke a screw. You can easily take a standard ft/lb Torque wrench and calculate the equivalent inch/lbs.
