I have a really nice pinfire shotgun brought in that is missing the hammers. Looks to be 16 guage double barreled. heavily engraved under lever. It is marked C.D. Tanner of Hannover.
I know its a long shot but does anyone know of supplier that might have hammers? I do have a couple of places in England I have written to but nothing yet.
I was thinking maybe Germany or Belgium might have something.

Look at Peter Dyson's website. He shows pinfire hammers for sale. Of course it will have to be the correct "throw". There are a few on fleabay. Simpson's LTD. sometimes has wallhanger pinfires for sale. Perhaps the hammers could be fit to your gun. Good luck, I'm sure you'll find something.
