I sourced a supplier for 1/4-22 55 degree whitworth taps for the action screws. As with most consumable items, qty really sets the price. I need firm commitments to get an order together.

If I am not mistaken--I got a tap and die for 1/4-22 from MSC years ago and still have them. Can`t remember what the price was but it wasn`t too bad as I recall.

Just wanted to let everyone know, I hope to have the taps in hand friday. They had to ship from the manufacturer to the distributor to me.

They are here! Drilled and tapped a few holes with them, they cut nicely.

I am going to get some end mill containers from work tuesday to protect the taps, and hopefully ship tuesday. All depends if I can get to the PO before they close.

Taps went out yesterday to everyone that I had payment for.
