your lines look very thin unless you're using them to file a flat from the edge to the line shaping the crown of the bow.

that was the line to file to. Not sure about making it narrower?

Your file to lines leave the guard awfully narrow. Also the old pic looks bass akwards to me,the front should be wider than the back.

Did this 30 years ago, Swed. 3" wheel on the 6x48. only did the width.

Scribed lines look too narrow and too straight. Maybe a bit narrower in the back and flare towards the front?
