Bartlein Barrels
I noticed Grizzly industrial is now selling Bartlein 5R barrels. Does anyone have experience with them and what are your opinions?

They have been on alot of winning benchrest rifles lately.

The only easy day is yesterday!

Well these groups both came from bartlein barrels. not benchrest guns, just your basic coyote rifle.

10 shots in this one on the right. The left was from a factory rifle that was going south.

5 rounds in this one. had to develop a new load after I couldn't get the previous bullet any more.

yeah I'd say they make a good barrel. If I'm not in a big hurry, or can find one in stock that meets my specs, they are my first choice.

Yes it's cocked, and it has bullets too!!!

I have one in a custom 6MM-06 barrel assembly for for a Thompson-Center TCR (their sing-shot hammer-less break-over rifle). I am sure it would be more accurate in a bolt action but shoots fine in that rifle and there is not much metal fouling even with hot loads. My then 13-year-old grandson got two deer with it at over 400 yards last January.
