I am in need of an Oberndorf style stock for a 93 Mauser 6.5 X 55 I am finishing up. The current stock maker has been putting me off for some time now since I sent one back that was not right, I think I him off somehow. I can't believe I could do that but.....
I found Northwood Gunstock and they have exactly what I want has anyone used their wood? How are they do deal with? I wanted a semi-inleted stock in a semi fancy grade.

I bought three blanks from them.....they shipped promptly and the product was exactly as advertised.

You might check with Bill Soverns too as he has worked with them.

If they have a pattern you like I'd say go for it.....I was at their shop and it seemed like a fine place and the people were genuine nice folks!

I googled "Northwoods" for a website and found it but I can't get it to come up, do any of you have a valid site address for them?
I'd like to look at that Obendorf style for a 98.
