I have used a couple of these triggers on M98s and my only complaint is that the safety lever is so high that you have to clearance the bolt shroud quite a bit for it to clear when opening the bolt.

Other than that, they work fine.

I had one and it worked great. The gun I put it on was much more accurate and easy to shoot after the trigger was replaced. But I wouldn't put it on a dangerous game rifle... but a deer rifle i would.

I want a DGR trigger to be as simple and to the point with the least potential for breakage. Few moving parts and simple - when your life may be on the line...

Bold triggers aren't the very best the sporter market has to offer, but they're definitely serviceable for a field grade beater rifle. I have one on one of my rifles and it works just fine. Just don't bet the house on that safety preventing any accidents and you'll get good use out of one.

Break the yellow sealing paint, and adjust that trigger.
It goes way down.

I haven't tried it, but installed the one without the safety on a M98. I kept the original 3 position. If I change my mind about the safety it'll be a M70 style.
