I have purchased an old hi Standard .22 auto pistol at a gun show and would like to know when it was manufactured. Does anyone know where ther is a web site to check on serial numbers for the manufacturing dates, thanks.

I don't know a web site, but if you have no other luck, I can look it up in one of several books I have on Saturday.
