My 7MM is finally finished

I just got my stock back from Bill Soverns, he did a wonderful job of checkering it.
I started this project last year after I picked up an M24/47 intermidate lenght action from ElCaballero. I did all the metal work and polished everything, jeweled the bolt and follower. It is chambered in 7X57 with a 26 inch Shilen barrel lop 13 1/2. The peep sight I got from Rusty Marlin, the front sight is a NECG Universal with a white bead and the safety is a Chapman safety I cut and finished.
The stock is English walnut semi-inlet I bought from Northwood Gunstocks that I reshaped slimming down the forearm and reshaping the sides of the action. The floor plate has been hinged and the trigger guard bow narrowed I made the floor plate release as apparently no one makes them anymore, that was one of the hardest things I had to make.
After building rifles for all the kids I am keeping this one for myself. It will get a scope after I get the peep sight zeroed in.

This is a fine example of what the M-24/47 can become. You also made good use to the magazine by chambering the 'X57 length.
