Browning BAR foreend fit
I have a BAR II made in 1994. The foreend and specifically the part that contacts the front of the receiver . If you rap that area it makes noise. If I grip the foreend tightly against the barrel in that area and then hit it there is no noise. WHat would be a fix for something like this ? Thanks for any ideas.

Find out where it's loose first...

I know on the remingtons there is a metal liner in thside the foreend wood and sometimes the factory uses not quite enough epoxy to glue the two together.

I guess I have to pull it apart tonite and take a look at what can be causing it. I just got off the phone with my local gunsmith who used to work for Browning in Missouri andhe told me it shouldn't be loose at all that it can affect accuracy. It's pretty much the most accurate BAR I have ever owned so I hope it gets better Smiler
