Winchester model 70 bottom metal question
Is it true that all of the new model 70's come with the one piece floorplate and triggerguard assembly? I talked to a lady in customer service and this is what she told me. If this is true, now that they are also using spring steel extractors, I feel this puts them pretty much at the top for USA made rifles.

The "new improved" 1pc bottom metal is cast aluminum. Pure junk.

That is a true shame. I assumed it was made by Williams and was the same as the Supergrade.
