I'd not hesitate to buy it for a scabbard gun. I'd gamble that it's still in good accuracy and in worst case a good action for a project in 9.3 X 62 or something.

Personally it's not worth more than $600 IMO.....

That would clean up to be a very nice rifle. Clean and degrease the metal. Go over it with Oxpho-blue. The wood could get a washing and rub down with steel wool or green scrub pad. Follow that up with Linseed oil with a little stain in it. Take some before and after pictures You will surprize yourself.

Or just use the action to make a new rifle. : )
