I have used a couple of different bake on type paints for refinishing small aluminum parts that were worn but, I was wondering about the bake on Ceramic sprays that are available. How strong of a bond do they actually give?

Will it stick to High Gloss steel? Chrome Moly for instance?

I thought about adding a can to my next Midway order but, wanted to get some expert opinions on the stuff.

It will stick, but only if you texture the metal first with something like 120grit aluminum oxide. It won't stick to smooth metal well at all, and bead blasted metal may be worse.
