fredj338I have a great guy out here in the Soc. Rep. of Calif. I had him do a sim. style on my .280 w/o the Fluer-de-les, just the ribbons. Contact Lazlo @ (949) 830-8985, tell him Fred Johnson reffered you. He is affordable & very quick. You can just UPS the stock to him.

Rich AndersonE-Mail me at rlanderson@aaamichigan.com with your name and address and I can get you a price list. He does all the work on my guns and is very good.

<Ranger Dave>I'll do it for free!
I should let you know I've never tried checkering before and my jack knife is very dull. Also when things don't go well I tend to throw what ever I'm work on really hard. Other than that it shouldn't be a problem!

This guy is world class and he is reasonably priced.I have one of his "ugly" guns and building another now (250AI). What i mean by ugly is synthetic. But wood is what he loves, and you can tell it by his work.

CustomstoxBluetic,
Say hi to Dave for me. He is an old friend and for a while was a Washington boy. You couldn't tell it by the accent though. Maurice Ottmar called him Gator. He is a fine person and a great craftsman.

Displaced TexanSherry Abraham just finished a stock for me, it was a classice stock for a custom rifle based on a 1909 Argentine action. She did an excellent job & delevered as promised. I highly recommend her, prices are reasonable and can do any pattern you desire.

T.Carrjeffe,
Here are some examples of fleur-de-lis (also spelled fleur-de-lys) [French for "lilly flower"; literally "flower of lilly"].
