What pad for a synthetic stock
I need to put a 1" pad on a Borden Rimrock stock. Decelerator with basket weave came on it.

What are the objections to the KickEze pads?
Too soft? How about the new Simms?

Any advice from those who have been there, done that?

Just curious, what is wrong with the decelerator? Those are great pads, and I have put them on a few of my rifles. If it is not thick enough the kick eze pads are a good choice.

I have several of the solid decelerators, and a couple of the limbsavers, they are pretty equal in terms of recoil reduction I guess. I like the looks of the decelerator a little more. Both fine pads.

Length of pull needed increased. They are sent with the pad glued on. I cut the original pad off with a back saw and added (read glued on) a hard rubber spacer which had been ground to fit. I need a 1" pad now!

By the way, the basketweave version of the decelerator is a solid side pad. Anyone use the
english style decelerator? If so, pics?
