I just picked up a Rem 799 in 7.62 x 39

It shoots great
But that stock has to go

Who sells a decent Walnut stock for it
Nothing fancy , just a working stock

I plan on the rifle to be a plinker and low recoil deer rifle

Or even a decent Syn. stock

Not sure what Remington was thinking when they designed that stock
But it feels like a club
