Samples of spray painted stocks?

I getting ready to paint another stock with Krylon Fusion and would appreciate some samples anyone may have.

Gun will be an all around backup/loaner, satin nickle plated Swedish Mauser conversion, still 6.5x55, with a 3x10 Weaver.

I want to stick to the mask and spray procedure, the last ones turned out well, they were done using leaves to get different patterns in the sprays but I'd like to try something different.

This is my wife's 7X57 it was done with blades of weeds to break the pattern.

Not a good picture but the overall effect was quite pleasing. The paint on Ramrod340s rifle is pretty. Mine is also a 7x57.

Stainless mauser in a Hi-tech stock? What's that on the end of the barrel?

Don,
I built the rifle in 1991 and it is an FN Mauser action without the cutout on the left side of the action. It has a very light Ferlach barrel and the barreled action is hard chromed and the small parts are electroless nickel plated. All the parts were bead blasted to a matt finish so that the final result is as non reflective as can be. The rifle is fitted with a recoil brake so that my twin girls, who were twelve at the time, could use it as well. With a 6x scope I can see the bullet strike through the scope out to 300m. I must have had rocks in my head when I let that rifle go.

Don you hit it REAL close. MY wife had been using a cut down 243. She wanted her own. So I bought a Daly 7x57 barreled action with plans to replace the barrel. I stuck it in the 243 stock. First group was subMOA Third or fourth group went sub .75". My wife asked would a new barrel for sure be better I said welllll. She said leave her rifle alone.

So I stuck it in a hi-tech stock with a stock way to short for me.

I wish I could claim the paint. I had it done and with a lot of pleading and promises they let me watch how they did it.

here's mine...

1943 mauser in 30/06 in a B&C stock. krylon standard spray paint. looks pretty good in the country i hunt - needs a touch of yellow and a bit of red/orange.

I've used the fake rock type paints and been very happy with them, I believe it was a Krylon granite finish I used. Don't have a pic handy.
