<dshoots>Jewell Trigger for Sako
Does anyone know which model Jewell trigger (target or benchrest), if any, will fit a Sako model S491? If not, where can a Sako set trigger be obtained, Thanks.

I have been looking for a while, but the only Jewell trigger that is avilable for sako finn fire "22 lr"
I know that Jurri Jallonnen makes match triggers to both sako and tikka. They are not cheap, but darn good. Iv'e heard about it , but seen nothing soo far

StefanJewell makes a trigger for the Finnfire.
I cant see that there is any difference between the centerfire trigger and the trigger on the .22!
I havent seen a Jewell trigger made for a Sako but I strongly suspect that it would work fine on a centerfire rifle of the later models.

Looong time , no read. What have you been up too?
I have been told that the trigger won't fit even the new sakos. However, I have not been able to try my self, either
A call to Jewell would sort out problem this problem

StefanI have been hanging around the Swedish forum at
www.robsoft.nu/forum a lot latley. Mabye Im to lazy to stagger around the keyboard in english
Actually I had Walt Berger to call Arnold J a few years back when I was in US for a BR match

Arnold told Walt that the trigger NOT would fit a centerfire Sako.
The thing is that I tried to swap triggers on a Finnfire and my 591, it worked nicley........ This makes me to belive that the Jewell would fit a centerfire action. I havent tried the Jewell on a centerfire so Im not sure but I suspect it would work.
Have you made any posts at the swe. forum Johan?
Stefan.

We are just glad to be able to help out when we can! Im not all that sure if you got your question answered though.....
Johan.
Have a look for yourselfe! The forum is a mix of all sorts of shooters and hunters, just like this place. But a lot smaller
There is a few benchresters haning around but not many. Most people on the forum are handloaders and hunters.
Hope to see you there!
Stefan.
