MuskegManEABCO's French Grey Finish
I am considering having a trusty old rifle refinished for the Alaskan coastal environment. It is currently matte blue with a Teflon coating that is pretty much "spawned out."
Anyone ever had this done or have some insight?

I've been wondering the same thing. But I have
had two rifles done up in gunkote and like them very well. Others swear by ceracote which is supposed to be harder and thus more durable.
Ceracote comes in several shades of metal colors. Titatium, aluminum and stainless. There is even a darker one called gunmetal, if I
remember correctly?
