Inletting a stock for a barrel???
I will be looking for someone (hopefully)in the Monterey, Kalifornia area in the near future to inlet the barrel from my barrelled action into a real nice piece of Walnut I have. I it is semi inlet with a .5 inch barrel channel. This is going to be a real nice rifle and I don't trust myself with the job. What can I expect in the way of charges for something like this? Thanks for any info.

I don't have a name. You say the barrel channel. What about the action? If you have an inletted blank with a 1/2" channel normally the inletting is in the 90-95% range and the action will need to be inletted as well. I've seen prices from $75 - $200.

As usual just my $.02
