TomjacRifle stock blanks where to buy?
I am about to spend $500-$700 on a rifle stock blanks. What quality should I choose and who should I buy from? I like dark woods with lots of big patterns.
I have found several fine blanks at
www.dressels.com. Are Dressels known for good quality? Is there any other that I should look into?

<JBelk>Tomjac---
Dressels do have a good reputation and are friends of mine.
I buy wood from Ed Preslick in Chico, Ca. but it needs to dry a while before use.
Steve Heilmann has an extensive inventory of truly great wood that can be counted on to be dry and well laid out.
For spectacular wood I hang around Best Walnut from Seattle. The carpet is usually wet around their ACGG display area.
