Post-64 Replaceemtn Bolt Release?
I know Jim Wisner makes the wide checkered one for the pre-64 M70's. Does anyone make one for the post--64 or will the pre fit the post?

Not sure about the Wisner's, why not ask him. Or, you could have the old one welded up and worked down.

I tried via email with no reply. I'll give him a shout when I get home. Thanks.

Sorry I do not make them for the Post 64 Model 70. simply way to many variations in calibers ( length )of that bolt stop to think about.

Like Jim Kobe said, have it welded up and reshaped.

Its pretty easy to make Wisners pre 64 bolt stop work on a model 70 classic. I have done it several times.

can it also be done with a LH classic ben?

Considering that Pre-64 Model 70s were never made in LH, I suspect you would have a hard time finding a LH pre-64 bolt stop to modify.

The Wisner's won't fit the LH CLassic but the original can be modified.
