Shortening synthetic stock

My 18 yr old daughter, who has lived w/ my ex and has moved home w/ me, has expressed a wish to learn to hunt. Hunt w/ me! Makes me feel all warm all over. Mule Deer, Elk, Antelope. We stopped by our local Cabelas and the full sized stocks are a bit too long and the youth stocks are a bit too short. She's 5' 6" tall. She has shot my 30-06 Ackley with 125 Sierra's running about 2500 fps. I'd like to put her into a Rem 700 SPS SS in 7mm-08.

Can one of their stocks be shortened?

CAS shortened one for me and reinstalled a new recoil pad and repainted the stock. He is a forum member here and he does very nice work with a fast turn around.
