If you consider that CNN is extremely liberal and cators to the Democrats the #'s make sense. That shows that a lot of liberals favor lifting the ban. I imagine a Fox News survey would show just the opposite #'s.

It's gone for now, BUT... You can bet your collective asses that it will be back and much worse if/when Kerry or any other Democrat gets the Presidency in the next 12 years, or even if Bush survives as President but his Congressional majority does not.

So, we still have a few things to do...
1. E-mail President Bush expressing your support for his having let the ban die.
2. Ditto, to your state's Senators & Reps.
3. E-mail a short note to your local newspaper editor, expressing the same support.
4. If you belong to a gun club, or have anywhere else you can post information, go to the most recent edition of the Shotgun News, clip the two-page article on why all Sportsmen (that includes the female gender) NEED to vote in THIS election, even if they have to be wheeled to the polls in their iron lungs!!
