Barrel band swivel, solder or acraglas
I pretty much got everything for my 404 jeffery, but barrel band swivel. I was looking at brownells and they had one that was tapered and it said it could be agraglassed, would figure it would be better soldered.

Somebody give the scoop on installing one and is it best to buy one tapered or straight.

taper.. OA torch it orange, lower it down with a pair of pliers, tap it with a bored 2x4 and it will NEVER come off

the front sight will have a setscrew in it... it's FAR easier... slip/tap it on, mark the ark through the TINY set screw hole, tap it off, use a 1/16 drill to must make a spot for the set scrwe to sit in, on the barrel, tap it back on...
