There are some folks who do a fantastic job remodeling original bottom metal on Mauser type actions. James Anderson comes to mind. Jim Dubell is another.

If you can hold on for a few weeks, my sources tell me that there will be a new source of high-quality bottom metal coming to market; possibly before the end of the month.

My patience remains intact. I appreciate the feedback. The rifles in question are M70s.
